How to play.

Start
Press Start and the 60 seconds begin. The first level is a 2×2 board with one tile that is much lighter or darker.

Tap the odd tile
A correct tap moves you straight to the next level. Boards grow up to 8×8 and the difference in lightness shrinks.
- 03
Compare scores
Wrong taps cost 3 seconds, so choose carefully. When time runs out you see your level and the smallest lightness difference you spotted.
Frequently asked questions
What does it measure?
How quickly you can spot a tile that differs only slightly in lightness, and how small a difference you can still see. It is a game for fun and does not replace a vision or color vision test.
Does the screen affect results?
Yes. Screen brightness, color settings, night mode, and room lighting all change how the same difference looks. Compare scores on the same device in the same setting.
Can I play with color vision deficiency?
Mostly yes. The odd tile differs in lightness rather than hue, though some color combinations may feel harder.
Where are my scores saved?
Only your highest level is saved in this browser, and it is never sent to a server. Clearing the site data in your browser removes it.
