Frequently asked questions
Does opening a share link change the result?
No. The link contains the players, outcomes, and ladder number, so everyone who opens it sees the same ladder. Share the link before revealing results, and it proves the draw was not changed afterwards.
Are the names I enter stored on a server?
No. The ladder is drawn in your browser, and names live only in the part of the address after #. Browsers never send that part to the web server.
Is it fair?
The ladder number comes from the secure random generator of your browser (crypto.getRandomValues), and the same number always draws the same ladder. Every pair of neighboring poles has at least one rung, so no outcome is fixed in place.
